The figurine is designed and made in Denmark with details from the trade: the hoodie, the laptop and the headphones around the neck. Whether the gift is presented at graduation, given privately by the family or comes from the workplace, a personalised gift for a newly qualified computer science graduate is one that lasts for many years.

In short

Handmade IT figurine in two sizes: Standard 16 cm (DKK 599) and Premium 24 cm (DKK 899)

Personalised inscription (engraving) — name, year and title, up to 3 lines, +DKK 199

Supplied in an exclusive gift box — ready to present

Designed and made in Denmark — available as Male and Female

Ships within 5 business days at normal production load – engraving included

<details class="seo-details">

Read more about the graduation gift for computer science graduates from Udlært

IT figurine as a graduation gift — designed for the trade

IT gifts easily end up as yet another gadget that is out of date in two years. The figurine does the opposite: it shows the profession as it looks — the hoodie, the laptop and the headphones — and it never goes out of date. It sits on the desk next to the screen, and the engraving with name and year makes it the graduate's own. Available as male and female versions, designed and made in Denmark.

Gift for a newly qualified computer science graduate — typical gift-giving situations

The Computer Science programme is short and hands-on, and many graduates are in their twenties and still live at home or in student halls at graduation. The gift therefore most often comes from the parents. Another group is the placement company that hires the student after the work placement — here the figurine with the company name in the engraving marks that the trainee is now a colleague. The study group from the final project marks the occasion for each other with the standard figurine.

IT figurine in 16 or 24 cm — which should you choose?

The Standard 16 cm figurine is our best seller for joint gifts from fellow students and colleagues. It has all the details of the trade, stands securely on a shelf or desk, and with engraving on the base it is fully personalised for DKK 798 in total. The Premium 24 cm figurine is half as tall again and takes up noticeably more space in a room. Families and employers who want to mark the day with real presence typically choose it, because it has a satisfying weight in the hand when it is presented.

The rule of thumb is simple: if the gift comes from one or two people with a close relationship, choose 24 cm. If it comes from a group, or will sit in an office among other things, 16 cm is the right choice. Both sizes come in a gift box and can be engraved.

Engraving on a graduation gift for computer science graduates — what should you write?

The engraving is what turns the figurine into a personal gift rather than an ornament. The base has room for up to 3 lines of text – enough for a name, year and a short greeting. Three examples we often make: "SEBASTIAN · COMPUTER SCIENCE · 2026", "CONGRATS ON YOUR EXAM, JULIE", "AP GRADUATE 2026 · FROM MUM AND DAD". The graduation year is the most requested element, because it is the date the graduate will always remember.

Engraving costs DKK 199 and adds 1–2 working days to delivery. Engraved figurines cannot be returned unless there is a production fault, so check the spelling of the name one more time.

The Computer Science programme — why the day deserves a proper gift

The Computer Science programme is a 2.5-year academy profession degree covering programming, systems development and databases, plus a compulsory three-month work placement. It is built to be put to use straight away, and many graduates get a job directly through the placement; others go on to a professional bachelor's degree in software development. The programme ends with an oral defence of the final project, and graduation marks the shift from student to developer — often with a job start only a few weeks later.

Several at a time — for companies, institutions and teams

Workplaces with several newly qualified employees often order the figurines together, one per person, with the same text template and different names. The figurines wait ready in their boxes until the day arrives, so nobody has to remember in a busy week. Write the names and year in the comments field when you order, or email them to us, and we will set up the engraving to your template. Invoicing to a company CVR number is available via the business page.

Delivery, gift box and returns

The figurine ships within 5 business days from our workshop in Varde. With engraving, allow 1–2 extra working days, so order at least a week before graduation to be on the safe side. If the celebration is only a few days away, the figurine without engraving can still arrive in time, and the engraving can be ordered afterwards.

The gift box is included in the price, so the gift is ready to present without wrapping. You have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, and at Udlært you have 90 days on figurines without engraving. Engraved figurines are made to order with a clearly personal character and are exempt from the right of withdrawal (Danish Consumer Contracts Act, section 18(2)(3)). There is a 2-year statutory complaints period under the Danish Sale of Goods Act. If you have questions about size, engraving or delivery, we reply quickly by email.

All graduation gifts for engineering and construction can be found in the category's own collection.
